Research Memo 3

The videos and pictures that I have used on my blog relate to my topic because they deal with hunting. My background, camouflage, is relevant because it represents a hunter and woods. The video gives statistics on hunting in another state and it shows a graph of how many hunters in their state hold a permit; however it would be even more helpful to show a total number of hunters. The DNR picture represents my state Natural Resources Dept.
The DNR is responsible for game management through the state. They control and work with hunters to better ensure the safety and well being of everyone. Their main goal is to preserve the wildlife and game of our state. Although Game Wardens or officers are part of these states DNR or Wildlife Management, they can be called to any state in the nation because they are Federal Agents.
The photo of the youth hunt is a way for DNR to reach out to kids about proper techniques of hunting and trapping. They host this event every year to the next generation of hunters. They show hunters how to properly hold, shoot and load/unload a gun.
Overall these photos relate to my topic because they show how local law enforcements are working to prevent illegal taking of animals.
