1. How and why has hunting changed over the past thousand years?
2. What has been the purpose of hunting over the past thousand years?
3. Why do we as hunters today, feel the need to boast about our game?
4. What was the reason of this change?
5. Should this change affect the newer generation of hunters?
I chose these research questions because hunting is a passion of mine and has changed dramatically; mainly because we have forgotten what hunting means. The first question is my overall topic. I chose this question because hunting is very valuable to me and to see people hunt how they want to and be careless upsets me. The second and third questions are talking about how we feel the need to boast about what we get and how it relates to our ancestors who have hunted a thousands of years ago. My final two questions are asking why hunting has changed, as far as respect for other hunters and landowners. This topic really touches home with me: mainly because I enjoy hunting and I know that in my time of hunting that I have seen a huge change. To others hunting is just a joke and time to show off, but to others, it is a serious matter and needs to be set right.
